Contemporary Workshop

This workshop invites dancers into a rigorous and imaginative exploration of movement through the methods of Mike Tyus & Co. Blending guided improvisation, contemporary and ballet technique, floorwork, and phrase work, the class investigates weight, momentum, musicality, and dynamic movement through space. Dancers are encouraged to expand their physical range while developing greater awareness of their individual movement instincts and creative voice.
