FERN

Mike Tyus led creative and movement direction for serpentwithfeet’s performance for the premiere of FERN, a performance series bringing Black musical artists into nature, creating intimate encounters between music, the body, and the landscape. Filmed in North Vancouver, the work draws on the Trickster archetype, weaving voice and movement into an intimate exploration of power, disruption, and the beauty found in darkness.
