LIFE & TRUST

Mike Tyus served as a contributing choreographer and performer for Life And Trust, Emursive’s large-scale immersive theatrical production in New York City.

Set against the financial excess and collapse of 1929 New York, Life And Trust reimagines the Faustian bargain through an immersive world of ambition, desire, power, and consequence. Audiences move freely through a vast, dreamlike landscape where movement, architecture, and fragmented narrative reveal intersecting stories of wealth, temptation, and the human cost of wanting more.

Mike Tyus served as a contributing choreographer and performer, helping shape the production’s physical language and bringing its world to life through performance. Extending his relationship with the production beyond the stage, Tyus also directed its advertising campaign, translating the visceral, cinematic atmosphere of Life And Trust into imagery for its public identity.
